About My Canvas Project
My Canvas Project is a vibrant and empowering creative initiative designed to nurture young artists and writers who possess natural talent, curiosity, and passion. We exist to give youth a space where their artistic voice can grow, their imagination can flourish, and their creative identity can take shape.
We support a wide range of artistic expression — from visual art, drawing, and design to poetry, creative writing, storytelling, and script development. Whether a young person is beginning their creative journey or is already sharpening their craft, My Canvas Project opens the door to new skills, new experiences, and new opportunities.
Classes are offered in person, virtually, and through online tutorial lessons so every child has access to learning no matter where they are. Eligible youth will also receive materials and supplies to support their growth, ensuring that artistic potential is never limited by lack of resources.
To qualify, each participant must submit three (3) original pieces of artwork or literature, along with a short personal bio. This helps us understand each child’s style, interests, and creative voice, and ensures that every student receives meaningful, personalized guidance.

Our mission is to inspire, develop, and uplift young creators by nurturing their love for art, crafts, graphics, and literature. We are committed to helping youth strengthen their skills, expand their imagination, and build confidence through creative discovery, expression, and education.
The purpose of My Canvas Project is to help close the growing gap left by the diminishing presence of arts and literature in classrooms and communities. We aim to bring creative opportunities back into the hands of youth — in local neighborhoods, after-school programs, and schools — giving every child the chance to explore, create, and shine.
